Tu découvres les haïku de Jack Kerouac qu'elle t'a envoyés hier soir, fasciné. Si, dans ses romans, Kerouac a une écriture "jazz", dans ses haïku, il est "rock", profondément rock. Tu t'es amusé à en mettre plusieurs bout à bout, pour composer cette petite chanson, cette ballade pour Jack. Tu te laisses bercer par ses mots sur un mid-tempo électrique, gorgé de guitares fantomatiques égrenant des arpèges rouillés et grinçants :
